The Redskins and Jets managed to reach a new boiling point in the final day of joint practices in Richmond.
The joint camp kicked off with a brawl on Sunday, and the Redskins are making certain they leave Richmond with another fireworks display.
Tuesday's flareup featured Redskins safety D.J. Swearinger and Jets receiver Terrelle Pryor, who made a point of saying publicly he'd try to avoid taking any trash-talking bait from his former Redskins teammates.
Near fight with Swearinger and Pryor after a 1-1 red zone drill vs Monate Nicholson. Defended the play. Swearinger pumped. Jawed at Pryor. Pryor follows. Swearinger fakes punch: Pryor turned away. It ended.
Montae Nicholson broke up the last rep of one on ones to Pryor and DJ Swearinger let him know about it. And kept letting him know. And kept letting him know. And kept letting him know! (via @TIAWOMC) pic.twitter.com/B7nUbZAhic
Another view captures Swearinger faking a lunge for Pryor, and Pryor sheepishly turning away. Think: Exact opposite of the famed Kobe Bryant-Matt Barnes GIF.
DJ Swearinger says he was letting Pryor know that the Redskins didn't respect him enough to give him a cornerback during 1-on-1 time. Drew a safety all three days.
