In his 12-year career, Mark Reynolds has accomplished plenty of things. However, Tuesday night was probably the first time Reynolds has been ejected...twice.
Pinch-hitting for Jimmy Cordero in the the eighth inning of the Nationals' clash with the Phillies, Reynolds struck out looking on an outside fastball from Tommy Hunter.
Reynolds voiced his displeasure with home plate umpire Sam Holbrook's strike zone as he walked back to the dugout, and continued to do so from the dugout.
As one would expect, Holbrook tossed him. That's when things got weird.

August 29, 2018 Reynolds and Davey Martinez both left the dugout to continue the heated conversation with Holbrook, third base coach Bob Henley coming down the line to usher Reynolds away.
As Reynolds walked back towards the dugout steps, he turned around, took off his batting gloves and launched them in Holbrook's direction.
In response, Holbrook ejected Reynolds, for the second time.

August 29, 2018 Reynolds showed off his throwing arm earlier this season, too, pitching one-third of an inning back in July, the same week he won NL Player of the Week.

July 8, 2018 Ryan Zimmerman got a kick out of the double ejection, giving some (sarcastic) advice to MLB officials on how to punish Reynolds.
