If Alex Smith's struggles continue, will Redskins give Colt McCoy a shot?

Alex Smith had his worst game as a Redskin in Monday night's loss to the Saints, and overall his numbers leave plenty to be desired
And if he has a few more performances like the New Orleans "debauchery," will Redskins fans demand Jay Gruden to call Colt McCoy's number?

John-Paul Flaim posed the question to his fellow Junkies on Thursday.

"If he played like three games like he did, oh yeah!" Eric Bickel replied. "And rightly so. Rightly so. It doesn't matter how g'd up you are."

However, The Junkies don't think it'll reach that point.

EB: If he played three games like that, which he's not gonna.
Bish: Where he had 35 quarterback ratings?
EB: Yeah, they would throw him (McCoy) out there, see what he could do.
Bish: Maybe, but that's not gonna happen.
EB: I don't think it'll happen, he'll (Smith) play better.
It would take a number of terrible performances or an injury for the Redskins to bench Smith, but nonetheless the Colt McCoy truthers have already come out of the woodwork.

Colt McCoy is the best QB on the skins roster.
