This year’s event will feature artists, athletes, and experts sharing honest conversation about their personal experiences with mental health in a continued effort to raise awareness and support. Because talk saves lives.

One of the many celebrity guests joining this year’s broadcast is Country artist Carrie Underwood. Earlier this year, Carrie shared she practices self care through hobbies like gardening.

"I feel like there's a lot of life lessons in gardening that you just think about as you are gardening,” she said of spending “me time” outside. “It's a very calming thing; some good physical activity, and then you get to eat… what you are growing, which is also so good for your body and so good for your brain and everything in between."

Underwood also shared she’s sure to prioritize her mental health by creating boundaries on social media and filling her home with encouraging music.

"I love to put things out there, I love to follow people and see what they're up to, I love to tell people what I'm up to -- but I don't read comments,” she said of her social media strategy. “I think that's one of the best things I could have ever done.”

As far as her soundtrack goes, "when I need a mental health break, the music that I will go to would be more 'Praise & Worship' music," Carrishe shared. "I feel like sometimes if I just play it in my house when I'm making dinner or something like that, or cleaning... it's just positive energy kind of filling the house in the form of sound waves. It's really nice and uplifting, and encouraging.”

Other guests for this year’s I’m Listening Broadcast include Ed SheeranAdele, Vice President Kamala HarrisLizzo, NFL star Dak PrescottMaren MorrisCharlie Puth, and sportscaster Stephen A. Smith. Additionally, AFSP’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Christine Moutier, will be joining Katie Neal, host of Audacy’s nationally syndicated Katie + Company, in studio for the event responding to listener questions and stories with real-time advice.
