LAS VEGAS -- Washington football legend Joe Theismann had a fantastic chat with 910 The Fan host Michael Phillips as part of our Bud Light Big Game Week coverage.
Theismann said he loves the experience Dan Quinn brings to the Commanders, and noted that new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury has ties to Caleb Williams, the star quarterback at USC who Kingsbury coached last year.
"Let's just say Caleb Williams is drafted by Washington, he will be familiar with the offense," Theismann said. "The biggest part of the (rookie transition) is terminology, knowing what to call, knowing where to go with the ball, knowing how to read things, and that's a step that will be advanced for him."
Theismann also remembered his days doing morning radio on WTEM Washington, where he would have fun with the listeners.
"I used to argue with myself on the air," he said. "I would play the construction guy, as well as the truck driver."
Theismann is doing just fine for himself, but vocal impersonator could be in the cards if he needs another career. Enjoy the whole segment:
