Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bills add another depth piece to their offensive line on Thursday with the signing of guard David Edwards to a one-year deal.
Edwards spent the last four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams after being selected in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Wisconsin. Over his four years in Southern California, Edwards appeared in 54 games, starting 46 of those contest while playing both right and left guard with the Rams.

The 26-year-old also brings with him playoff experience, being part of the Rams' starting five up front when they beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
In 2021, Edwards gave up only six sacks, which was tied for sixth-best among offensive linemen.
This past season only saw Edwards start four games suffering a concussion during a Week 5 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.
Edwards joins Connor McGovern as the second offensive linemen added by the Bills this offseason via free agency when the new league year opened on March 15. He will be among the group that will compete for a starting guard position in 2023.
