Tampa, Fla. (WGR 550) – The Buffalo Sabres have now lost their best player due to injury.
Defenseman Rasmus Dahlin will miss Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning with an upper-body injury. He’s being listed as day-to-day.
Buffalo is already missing Mattias Samuelsson and Henri Jokiharju, and Ilya Lyubushkin has been in-and-out of the lineup due to injury.
Sabres head coach Don Granato declined to say if the injury resulted from the Scuffle Dahlin was in Friday night against the Carolina Hurricanes with forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi.
Buffalo is now missing three of its top-four defensemen from the lineup
