One of South Carolina's major in-state college football programs has announced the dismissal of a player. Clemson Football confirmed Thursday)that Linebacker T.J. Dudley is no longer with the program, after what was termed a violation of team rules.
The Athletic Department statement did not include any specifics on the situation. Dudley redshirted last season but did appear in four games and recorded two tackles. The move may not have much impact in terms of on the field, as linebacker is expected to be a position of strength for the Tigers in 2023.
Prior to coming to Clemson, Dudley was a three time All State selection while starring at Montgomery Catholic in Alabama.
