A recent study shows that one in-state college football program ranks among the nation's best for earning power in the NFL. Rob Jones has the report. The experts at Betway examined the best colleges for NFL talent and has ranked Clemson 5th nationally for current NFL players making the most money, collectively.
Clemson currently has 37 players in the NFL which is the 11th most of any program in the country. Those former Tigers have made over 720 million collectively. Only Alabama, Ohio State, LSU and Texas A&M have higher collective earnings amongst current NFL talent.
Georgia is right behind Clemson with their current NFL players making over 720 million, total.
Clemson Football has produced 288 draft picks and one NFL Hall Of Famer (DB Brian Dawkins) in program history.
