J.L.Mann may well be in the midst of a renaissance year. They have been one of the emerging stories of the early part of the season around the Upstate and certainly in the city of Greenville. J.L. Mann has allowed just 10 points in their last two games beating Riverside and Woodruff. The Patriots are 3-0 for the first time since 2011 and the architect of that emergence is Head Coach Steve "Scoot" Watson. He joined the Saturday Morning Scramble to talk with me about their tremendous start and what makes this Mann team different than years past. Since that conversation, I have learned through some help from our friend Brock Hamrick, that Mann if they beat Easley this week, would be 4-0 for the first time since 1996. The interview with Coach Scoot Watson is below.
