Stop me if you've heard this before...another MLB manager is unhappy with the way Ronald Acuña Jr. celebrates his homeruns.
This time, the culprit is Philadelphia Phillies manager Rob Thomson. In speaking with WIP earlier this week, he was asked his opinion on what we're seeing in baseball now with players having homeruns celebrations a bit more pronounced than in previous years. His response? "I like when our guys act like they've been there before."
It was that quote the Morning Shift's Beau Morgan addressed this morning in his edition of 'Life of Squid'. "So I guess that was Rhys Hoskins first homerun he's ever hit in the 2022 playoffs?"
The Braves finished off this series with the Phillies by taking three of four games, and also clinching the NL East crown for the sixth straight season.
