Just a few games in to his Sophomore season Bryson Drummond is making sure impression is felt. While he and his Red Raider teammates have not had the start they envisioned, they put it altogether last Friday night. Drummond threw for 5 TD passes in Greenville's 70-7 beat down of Mauldin. There had been uncertainty at QB for the Red Raiders this year, after standout Pro Franklin graduated and signed with SC State. Jordan Sink started the opener at QB for Greenville and had a solid performance in the team's week 0 loss to highly ranked Dorman. Drummond may have well grabbed a strangle hold on the position with his play against Mauldin. This Friday, we will see if Greenville High can follow up that performance when they take on in-city foe J.L. Mann. For now, Drummond gets to live in the spotlight though. He was a guest on Wednesday's episode of "Offsides With Marc Ryan and Diesel".
