The Carolina Panthers have added some new talent following the NFL draft. The Panthers will welcome in 6 new players that were selected in this year's draft. Their top selection was NC State OT Ickey Ekonwu, who they selected 6th overall in the 1st round.
Carolina took Heisman Trophy Candidate QB Matt Corral of Ole Miss in the 3rd round. They followed that with the 4th round selection of Penn State LB Brandon Smith. The Panthers picked up Blythewood, SC Native and Virginia Tech Edge Rusher Amare Barno in the 6th round.
