The Upstate has a finalist in a national contest for elementary schools. Jersey Mike's Subs and the Harlem Globetrotters are partnering to hold the "Court Of Creativity" Challenge.
Clemson Elementary has been named a finalist in the competition. Students from the schools involved shot and submitted a video showcasing their creative efforts by re-enacting the creation of basketball by Dr. James Naismith.
As a finalist, Clemson Elementary will be receiving a thousand dollar donation from Jersey Mike's. The Harlem Globetrotters will be visiting the winning school before classes let out for the summer.
