LAKE FOREST (670 The Score) -- Bears guard Cody Whitehair left the team's structured scrimmage Wednesday night with an injured finger on his left hand.
Coach Matt Nagy didn't believe the injury to be serious. He couldn't specify further details to the extent. The injury occurred early in the Bears' scrimmage on the back field of Halas Hall.
"He's going to be fine, from what I've been told," Nagy said.
Whitehair has started all 48 regular-season games for the Bears across the past three seasons after they selected him in the second round of the 2016 draft.
The Bears have moved Whitehair from center to left guard this season. He's working the final year of his rookie contract.
