(670 The Score) The Bulls have been granted permission to interview three candidates for their vacant general manager position.
Clippers assistant general manager Mark Hughes, 76ers senior vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley and Magic assistant general manager Matt Lloyd have been given permission by their teams to have meetings with the Bulls, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported Tuesday.
In an interview on the Mully & Haugh Show on Tuesday morning, new Bulls executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas detailed what he's seeking in a general manager.
"Somebody that's going to complement me and my skill set," Karnisovas said. "I don't want somebody that is just like me in terms of player evaluation. I would like to complement my skill set in my next hire. I want a person that is going to be really good with the players and relationships. That would be my No. 1 criteria."
Karnisovas' list of candidates could certainly expand, as he has noted that time is on his side in assessing who should be in the key position.
