Reports: Bulls Interview 3 More For Top Executive Job

(670 The Score) While the belief in NBA circles is that Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas is the leading candidate to become the Bulls' new head of basketball operations, Chicago has extended its net in interviews.

Three more candidates have interviewed recently, according to reports Wednesday. Former Hawks general manager Wes Wilcox did so, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported. Wilcox is currently an analyst for NBA-TV.

Former Cavaliers and Hawks general manager Danny Ferry also has interviewed with the Bulls, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reported. And former Raptors, Suns and 76ers executive Bryan Colangelo has interviewed, Shams Charania of the Athletic reported.

Karnisovas has emerged as the top candidate for the Bulls in the eyes of many, with Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports terming him the clubhouse leader. The 48-year-old Karnisovas has worked in the Nuggets' front office since 2013 but "really wants" the Bulls' job, Colorado Springs Gazette columnist Paul Klee said in an interview on the Laurence Holmes Show on 670 The Score on Wednesday.

Karnisovas and Jazz general manager Justin Zanik have previously interviewed with the Bulls.
