(670 The Score) With seven players sidelined by injuries recently, the Bulls will sign guard Walter Lemon Jr. for the remainder of the season, Shams Charania of the Athletic reported Thursday.

Lemon, 26, played in the G League this season, averaging 20.9 points and 8.4 assists in 33.9 minutes across 43 regular-season games in time split between the Maine Red Claws and Windy City Bulls. Lemon has had a winding basketball journey, previously playing in Hungary, Germany, Turkey and Greece.

The Bulls have been hit hard by injuries, with Zach LaVine, Otto Porter Jr., Lauri Markkanen and Kris Dunn sitting out of a loss to the Blazers on Wednesday night. Previously, Wendell Carter Jr., Chandler Hutchison and Denzel Valentine had been ruled out for the season with their injuries. Markkanen joined them late Wednesday, when the Bulls announced he'll miss the final six games after experiencing a rapid heart rate and extreme fatigue recently. The test that have been run on him checked out well, the team said.
