(670 The Score) Blackhawks star Patrick Kane was named a finalist for the Ted Lindsay Award, given to the league's "most outstanding player" and voted on by members of the NHLPA.
Kane had previously won the Lindsay Award in the 2015-'16 season, becoming the first American-born player to do so. He had 44 goals and 66 assists (110 points) in 81 games last season.
The Lightning's Nikita Kucherov and Oilers' Connor McDavid are also finalists for the Lindsay Award. Kucherov posted a league-best 128 points last season. McDavid managed 116 points.
The winner of the Lindsay Award will be announced Wednesday, June 19, at the NHL Awards show.
