Patrick Mahomes Trolls Bears After Touchdown Pass

CHICAGO (670 The Score) -- Chiefs quarterback and reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes provided insult to injury for the Bears on Sunday night.

After throwing a touchdown in the second quarter of the Chiefs' 26-3 win over the Bears at Soldier Field, Mahomes ran to the visiting sidelines while counting to 10 on his fingers. That number represented the slot in which Mahomes was drafted in 2017 -- eight spots after the Bears bypassed him to select quarterback Mitchell Trubisky second overall.

In a postgame interview, Mahomes played coy about the moment, which was showcased to a national television audience by the NBC broadcast.

"I was just out there having fun," Mahomes said. "Me and my teammates, we were going out, we had a big score before the half, and I was trying to enjoy it. You've seen me play. I play with emotion. And I like to go out there and have fun with my teammates."Honestly, I don't think about celebrations and stuff like that. I leave that to Tyreek (Hill) and (Travis) Kelce and those guys and I just kind of go out there and just enjoy the moment. And that's kind of who I am, is I play with a lot of passion, and I like to go out there and just be out there with those guys."I was just kind of just in the moment and just enjoying it."

Mahomes was 23-of-33 for 251 yards and two passing touchdowns while also adding a rushing score. Trubisky was 18-of-34 for 157 yards on a night the Bears' season-long offensive struggles continued.

The Chiefs improved to 11-4 with their victory, while the Bears dropped to 7-8.
