(670 The Score) The Cubs have activated setup man Steve Cishek, they announced before hosting the Giants on Tuesday evening.
Cishek had been out since Aug. 9 due to a hip injury. He has a 3.58 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in 54 appearances this season and will be available to pitch Tuesday.
To make room for Cishek, the Cubs optioned infielder David Bote to Triple-A Iowa. They also optioned outfielder Mark Zagunis to Triple-A after he served as the team's 26th man in a win against the Pirates in the the Little League Classic on Sunday.
