(670 The Score) The Cubs will open the 2020 regular season at the Milwaukee Brewers next March 26, they announced Monday as MLB schedules were released.
It will mark the first time the Chicago has ever opened its season in Milwaukee. The Cubs will host the Pirates in their home opener at Wrigley Field on March 30.
The Cubs will play the White Sox four times -- at Guaranteed Rate Field on July 7-8 and at Wrigley Field on July 20-21.
The rest of the Cubs' interleague schedule involves American League East opponents. The Cubs will host the Orioles for two games (June 2-3), the Reds Sox for three games (June 19-21) and the Rays for three games (July 3-5). They'll visit the Orioles for two games (April 14-15), the Yankees for three games (June 26-28) and the Blue Jays for three games (Aug. 14-16).
The Cubs will also play the Cardinals in London on June 13-14, as had been previously reported. That two-game series will be surrounded by off days on June 11, 12 and 15. It will mark the Cubs' first games overseas since they played the Mets in Tokyo, Japan in to open the 2000 season.
The Cubs will also close the 2020 regular season by hosting the Cardinals in a three-game series.
The Cubs will have three three-city road trips in 2020. They have four three-city road trips this season.
