(670 The Score) The Cubs have signed the three pitchers whom they selected in the MLB amateur draft earlier in June.

Chicago has reached deals with Dallas Baptist left-hander Burl Carraway (second round), San Jacinto College North left-hander Luke Little (fourth round) and Panthers Creek (N.C.) High right-hander pitcher Koen Moreno (fifth round).

The Cubs had previously signed Mt. Carmel High shortstop Ed Howard, their first-round pick. Michigan outfielder Jordan Nwogu remains unsigned after the Cubs took him in the third round.

The 6-foot, 173-pound Carraway was a reliever in college and thus will project as the same for the Cubs. He had a 2.81 ERA, 124 WHIP and 72 strikeouts in 41 2/3 innings across 28 appearances in 2019. He also held foes to a .195 batting average and was named first-team all-Missouri Valley Conference.

Carraway posted a 0.96 ERA in eight appearances before the coronavirus halted this season. He was considered the top reliever in this draft class, according to Baseball America.

The 6-foot-8 Little struck out 86 batters while walking 39 across 44 1/3 innings in two seasons at San Jacinto.

Moreno had a 1.62 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 47 2/3 innings as a high school junior in 2019.
