David Schuster has the full report below, as Carter spoke with the media Tuesday, a day after he had the procedure. Carter is expected to miss the next eight to 12 weeks, and if the latter end of that timeline proves to be the case, he'll miss the remainder of the season.
Carter has averaged 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks while shooting 48.5 percent in 25.2 minutes across 44 games.
