(Audacy) Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady made more history Sunday when he connected with receiver Mike Evans for his 600th career touchdown pass, becoming the only player to ever reach that mark.
But it was what happened afterward that made the moment even more unique. Evans celebrated the touchdown by giving the ball to a fan in the stands, not realizing it was a career milestone for Brady.
There have been plenty of instances over the years, normally in baseball, where fans will hold onto the ball for money or something else in exchange.
Yet, when a Bucs official ran over to retrieve the ball from the fan, he handed it over without hesitation.

CBS color analyst Tony Romo commended the fan on the telecast and made a few awkward jokes (including one about Brady possibly giving the fan a night with his wife, Giselle Bundchen), but all in all it was a smooth transaction.
The ball is estimated to be worth at least $500,000, according to sports business reporter Darren Rovell.
Hopefully, the Bucs return the favor for the fan with some free tickets or a chance to meet Brady for his cooperation.
