David Haugh (1-1): Bears 24, Eagles 23
The Eagles might not be as good as their record says, and the Bears certainly aren’t as bad as scoring three points last week suggests. If Case Keenum indeed plays, expect a disciplined, ball-control offense and complementary football. The defense will come after Jalen Hurts, and the special teams will be much improved.
Matt Spiegel (1-1): Eagles 26, Bears 22
The Bears defense shows signs of life, but it’s not enough to support the Case Keenum experience.
Chris Emma (1-1): Eagles 24, Bears 19
Case Keenum will lead the Bears admirably, but the Eagles will be too much. After their thrilling opener two weeks ago, the Bears fall to 1-2 in humble fashion.
Alex Kuhn (1-1): Eagles 24, Bears 21
I want to pick a Bears winner here, but I can't. Case Keenum and the Bears put up a good fight, but the Eagles escape Soldier Field with a victory.
Tyler Buterbaugh (1-1): Bears 24, Eagles 21
Let’s go full meatball, because why not? Case Keenum will help lead the Bears to a victory, and both D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai will have big games on the ground. Captain Case is 3-0 against Vic Fangio’s defense as a starter, and we saw improvement from the Chicago defense last week. I expect that to continue.
Tyler Ferengul (1-1): Eagles 21, Bears 16
Can the Bears win this game without Caleb Williams and Tyson Bagent? Yes, but I think it will be hard to accomplish. Chicago ran the ball all over Philly's defense in their matchup last year, and the Eagles will have that in the back of their minds Monday. The Bears defense plays another solid game, but it isn't enough for the win as the offense is limited with Case Keenum at the helm. The Bears fall to 1-2 as they anxiously await the return of Williams.
Clint Clouse (1-1): Bears 24, Eagles 17
It looks like it’s going to be the Case Keenum show as he’s in line to make his first start since 2023! And good or bad, it will be remembered as the Case Keenum game. So it’ll either be like the Josh McCown game on Monday Night Football or that Todd Collins game in 2010. I’m counting on a heavy dose of D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai for the Bears, and Colston Loveland will score his first touchdown of the season. My blind faith in Ben Johnson and Keenum will be the reason for this pick.
Grant Lieder (1-1): Eagles 27, Bears 13
With no Caleb Williams, it’s going to be really tough for the Bears to score. The Eagles played two close games against teams that they should’ve beaten by two scores, but that’s football. The Eagles win pretty convincingly.
Jakob Stutz (1-1): Eagles 20, Bears 17
I truly want to believe the Bears can squeak out a win here. If Tyson Bagent was playing, I’d have more confidence to pick them. I wouldn’t be shocked if Chicago can ground and pound its way to a win, but the lack of a passing threat is going to hurt. The narrative that a 38-year-old Case Keenum will step in and run Ben Johnson’s playbook “as intended” isn’t realistic for a player who hasn’t played a regular-season game in years. This week is going to make a lot of people realize that Caleb Williams is just as big of a part of the Bears’ offensive philosophy as his great play-caller of a head coach.
David Dykstra (1-1): Eagles 31, Bears 20
The Bears are unable to keep pace with the Eagles and miss Caleb Williams’ leadership of their offense.
