David Haugh (10-5): Lions 31, Bears 28
There's no reason to think the Bears can win any game anymore, let alone a close one. Or is losing actually winning in this warped season in Chicago? Whatever the case or context, it can't end soon enough for, well, everyone. In the same year in which they found a quarterback, the Bears also clearly established themselves the worst team in the division. Worse than the Lions. Let that sink in. Taking the North looks as unrealistic as ever.

Danny Parkins (10-5): Bears 30, Lions 28
I actually think this is the game the Bears mess it up and win. The Lions are playing well, are high end on offense and clearly have a good culture going. I just think this too-good-to-be-true run of competitive losses for the Bears comes to an end as their rushing attack ends up being the difference.

Matt Spiegel (10-5): Lions 23, Bears 20
The Lions need a win to stay alive, and the Bears need … to develop young players. The HITS principle can't overcome the gap in motivation – and of course in talent.

Chris Tannehill (12-3): Lions 37, Bears 30
The Bears could make history this Sunday and break their franchise's losing streak record, which sits at eight games. You have to go all the way back to 2014-'15 to find the last time we've seen the beloved lose eight consecutive games. Unlike the Bears' infamous six-game skid of 2020, this stretch hasn't brought anyone closer together (especially the media). When I watch these Bears every week, I want them to win. This team, while deprived of talent, plays tough and fights harder than some of the teams I cited from previous seasons. The Lions are playing for a shot at the playoffs. The Bears are playing for a shot at spoiler. As we saw in the last matchup between the two teams, Detroit isn't a team to be taken lightly.
Especially at home. I just can't see the Bears and their depleted offense being able to survive a shootout on the road against this explosive Lions aerial attack. Here's to making history and a shot at the No. 1 pick.

Adam Studzinski (6-9): Bears 28, Lions 24
The Lions still suck. Justin Fields leads the Bears to a division win to end Chicago's eight-game losing streak, and people freak out because of "draft position" or whatever.

Chris Emma (11-4): Lions 34, Bears 29
The Bears opted to not shut down Justin Fields for the final two games, believing he can continue to improve before the end of the season. Facing the Lions' last-ranked defense will offer the opportunity to move the football, but Detroit will come out on top in this New Year's Day shootout.

Cam Ellis (9-6): Bears 28, Lions 24
Since November started, the Lions have beaten the Packers, the Vikings and the Jaguars and also came within three points of upsetting the Bills. Then they got smoked by the Panthers. A Detroit win Sunday would go a long way to setting up a huge win-and-probably-get-in-the-playoffs game against Green Bay in the final week of the regular season, and there's nothing more fun than watching two kinda-mediocre NFC North teams claw at each other for the right to be the lowest-seeded playoff team. I believe that the Lions are a significantly better team than the Bears, but at the end of the day, they are and will forever be the Lions.
