David Haugh (4-5): Bears 24, Panthers 17
The Bears finally have an opponent worse than they are.
Matt Spiegel (7-2): Bears 24, Panthers 13
The Bears defense continues to assert itself, led by Montez Sweat's two sacks and a Jaylon Johnson pick-six.
Danny Parkins (4-5): Bears 28, Panthers 13
This game ends up like the Raiders game – a laugher for the Bears. Chicago's defense has been as good as you could ask for without getting sacks or turnovers, and Bryce Young will throw you the ball a few times. Plus, there's the motivational angle for D'Onta Foreman and DJ Moore in playing against their former team and the added organizational importance of the Bears owning the Panthers' first-round pick. The Bears' coaches should be ready to use their best plays, if such things exist.
Chris Tannehill (5-4): Bears 27, Panthers 13
One victory may separate these two teams, but I believe the Bears have the clear edge in this one. We could look back at this game as one of the biggest Bears games of our lifetime when you consider the draft ramifications. I want the Bears to win every week, but I REALLY want them to win this week, and I think they will.
Adam Studzinski (4-5): Bears 27, Panthers 19
Regardless of who's playing quarterback, this is a game the Bears should win. If they don't, Matt Eberflus should be fired Friday.
Chris Emma (6-3): Bears 24, Panthers 20
The edge in this game goes to the Bears' rushing attack against a porous Panthers run defense. That will be the difference in a surprisingly entertaining contest.
Evan Thomas (7-2): Bears 17, Panthers 15
If there was a game to try and avoid picking, it's this one. The amount of suck involved with these two teams runs deep, and after seeing the Panthers in person suck it up horribly in a loss to the Colts this past Sunday, I'm picking the Bears in this matchup. Both teams are among the league's worst, but because the Bears hold the Panthers' first-round pick in 2024, it's a win/win if they win. Or is it a lose/win/win? Or something? Anyway, yes, I'm actually picking the Bears to win.
Kevin Lapka (4-5): Bears 23, Panthers 13
The Bears don't have to do much to win this game. Facing the 28th-ranked rushing defense in football, the Bears can ground and pound their way to a win. Unfortunately for Al Michaels and the rest of the nation, that game plan will lead to yet another miserable Thursday Night Football game.
