670 staff predictions: Bears-Titans

Kickoff is set for Sunday at noon.

(670 The Score) The Bears (5-3) visit the Titans (5-2) on Sunday.

WBBM Newsradio 780 will carry the game, with kickoff set for noon. 670 The Score will have pregame with Hub Arkush, Olin Kreutz and Patrick Mannelly starting at 9 a.m. and continuing until game time. You can see all of 670's preview coverage of the Bears-Titans matchup by clicking here.

Here are our 670 game predictions, with each individual's Bears prognostication record this season in parentheses.

David Haugh (4-4): Titans 24, Bears 20
Too many challenges on and off the field this week make it hard to envision the Bears going on the road and upsetting the Titans. Tennessee's soft defense gives Chicago's makeshift offensive line an opportunity to come together quickly, but quarterback Nick Foles needs to play better. The game could turn in the Titans' ability to run the ball with Derrick Henry against a Bears defense susceptible to strong ground games. It's interesting to note the Titans defense has three more takeaways than the Bears.

Mike Mulligan (5-3): Titans 24, Bears 20
The news keeps getting worse with COVID-19 issues added to a laundry list of injuries for the Bears. This feels like a game of attrition, sadly.

Danny Parkins (4-4): Titans 30, Bears 13
Bears lose again.

Herb Lawrence (3-5): Bears 24, Titans 21
This coin flip thing isn't working so far, but it's probably just as good as me predicting the Bears' games. How is Shep 7-1 in these picks? He's as good at picking these Bears games as he is bad at holding chopsticks. BTW, my coin landed on heads this week.

Chris Emma (6-2): Titans 28, Bears 17
The Bears will struggle to stop Henry, and their offense will sputter once again. Chicago is heading for its third straight loss.

Rick Camp (5-3): Titans 30, Bears 13
Tennessee's in a prime bounce-back spot after losses to Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. Arthur Smith is one of the best play-callers in the NFL, and he won't hesitate to get all the explosive runs against the Bears defense and then hit A.J. Brown over the top. The Titans don't rush the passer well, but the Bears are likely to start Charles Leno Jr. and four Madden-created players on the offensive line. This may not be pretty.

Jay Zawaski (4-4): Titans 21, Bears 13
Had the Bears offensive line been even remotely healthy, I would've picked the Bears – but I just can't. Both teams will try to run the ball. One will succeed, the other won't.

Nick Shepkowski (7-1): Titans 21, Bears 10
Is this game even going to get played? If it does, the Bears sure as hell aren't winning after how this week has gone and with the state of their offensive line. Will the Bears crack double-digits against a bad defense feels like the real question.

Kickoff is set for Sunday at noon.
