(670 The Score) The Bears on Saturday activated rookie tackle Larry Borom from injured reserve, making him immediately eligible to play.
Borom suffered a high ankle sprain in the Bears' season opener on Sept. 12 at Los Angeles and had been out since. A fifth-round pick, he could factor in with the team's offensive line when the Bears host the 49ers on Sunday at Soldier Field.
The Bears haven't yet publicly named a starter at right tackle for Sunday. Borom, Elijah Wilkinson and Alex Bars are among the options to start at that position.
The Bears (3-4) and 49ers (2-4) kick off at noon CT on Sunday.
