(670 The Score) The Bears have activated safety Deon Bush from the COVID-19 reserve list, they announced Thursday.
Bush, 27, was deemed a close contact to a COVID-19 positive individual during the team's trip to Tennessee last weekend and was placed on the reserve list. The Bears sent Bush back to Chicago in a private car with a safe divider to the driver.
A reserve safety for the Bears, Bush has played in six games this season, recording four tackles and an interception.
With Bush activated, the Bears have two players -- center Cody Whitehair and tackle Lachavious Simmons -- on the COVID-19 reserve list.
The Bears (5-4) begin their practice week Thursday afternoon at Halas Hall. They host the Vikings (3-5) on Monday night.
