Bears awarded pair of compensatory picks in 6th round

The Bears now also hold the 221st and 228th overall picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.

(670 The Score) The Bears have been awarded a pair of compensatory picks in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, with the 221st and 228th overall selections added to their collection of draft picks.

The Bears received the compensatory picks as a result of quarterback Chase Daniel, defensive lineman Nick Williams, saftey Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis leaving in free agency last offseason. The formula also factored in the Bears' addition of linebacker Robert Quinn.

After adding the two compensatory picks, the Bears have eight selections in the NFL Draft. They're in line to initially be on the clock with the 20th overall selection.
