(104.3 The Score) With key starters watching from the sideline, Bears backup quarterback Tyson Bagent led the way in his team's 24-15 win over the Titans on Saturday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville in the preseason finale.
Bagent threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns — with just one incompletion in his day of work — including a 97-yard scoring pass to rookie wide receiver Zavion Thomas. That came with starting quarterback Caleb Williams and most of the Bears' key starters resting, as they also did in the preseason opener on Aug. 15 at Soldier Field.
The Bears turned to veteran quarterback Case Keenum and rookie quarterback Miller Moss in the second half. Roschon Johnson and Brittain Brown were the only running backs to get carries, with wide receiver Maurice Alexander also getting work out of the backfield.
By resting key starters, the Bears gave players fighting for roles and roster spots a final chance to showcase themselves. Teams must cut their rosters to the initial 53-man form by 5 p.m. CT on Sunday.
The Bears went 2-1 in their exhibition slate. They kick off the 2026 regular season on Sept. 13, when they face the Panthers in Charlotte.
