(104.3 The Score) Bears defensive end Montez Sweat has been issued a two-game suspension without pay for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, the league announced Tuesday.
Sweat will miss the Bears' upcoming games against the Falcons and Patriots. He'll be eligible for reinstatement on Oct. 23, a day after Chicago's game against New England.
The NFL didn't issue further details on Sweat's violation. He has two sacks in five games this season.
The Bears (3-2) will take on the Falcons (2-3) on Sunday in Atlanta.
