DJ Moore on the Bears: 'When all three phases can hold it down as one, it's going to be a good, good season'

(670 The Score) Bears receiver DJ Moore knew exactly where to dole out the credit after Chicago's come-from-behind 24-17 win against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at Soldier Field.

"Special teams and the defense held it down," Moore said.

In an ugly victory in their opener, the Bears amassed just 148 yards of offense in rookie quarterback Caleb Williams' debut but also returned a blocked punt and an interception for a touchdown to squeak out a win. Williams was 14-of-29 for 93 yards as the Chicago offense failed to score a touchdown, and Moore knows that side of the ball's performance can only improve from here given how poor it was Sunday.

"When all three phases can hold it down as one, it's going to be a good, good season," Moore said. "When one of the sides don't, we just got to pick them up."

Moore believes Williams and the Bears offense will bounce back when Chicago (1-0) visits the Houston Texans (1-0) next Sunday night.

"It's the first real live action, four-quarter football for him," Moore said of Williams. "So I think he handled it well. He knows that there were a bunch of plays that could've been made, but at the same time, we got the win at the end of the day. We're just going to go back on offense and look at every position group and see what everyone could've done better."
