(670 The Score) The Bears will be down two key starters in the secondary Sunday in Washington.
On Friday, the Bears ruled out safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion) and nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon (hamstring) against the Commanders.
Brisker hasn't yet cleared the NFL's concussion protocol after entering it on Oct. 7. He suffered the concussion during the Bears' win over the Panthers on Oct. 6 on a violent hit that left Carolina tight end Tommy Tremble with a concussion as well.
Gordon suffered the hamstring injury during the Bears' win against the Jaguars on Oct. 13. Even with the benefit of the bye week, he wasn't able to return for practice.
The Bears listed defensive end Jacob Martin (toe), running back Travis Homer (finger) and offensive tackle Larry Borom (ankle) as questionable to play Sunday. All three are presently on injured reserve and must be activated by Saturday at 3 p.m. CT in order to play.
Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (ribs) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday, head coach Dan Quinn told reporters. Veteran backup Marcus Mariota will start at quarterback if Daniels is unable to play.
The Bears (4-2) and Commanders (5-2) kick off at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday at Northwest Stadium.
