(670 The Score) The NFL trade deadline passed Tuesday afternoon without the Bears making a deal.
The Bears (5-3) have dropped two straight games and have several needs to address, particularly on an offensive line decimated by injury. On Sunday, general manager Ryan Pace had expressed an openness to exploring the trade market, but he didn't finalize any deals.
"We look at every avenue to improve our team," Pace said on the WBBM Newsradio 780 pregame show. "We talk about every single one of them. We owe it to ourselves to do that. It's a unique year. There are some factors that go into that. But no matter what if something makes sense and it's a fit for us for different reasons, we're definitely going to explore it."
The Bears have made just two in-season trades since Pace became general manager in 2015, most recently when they acquired receiver Dontrelle Inman from the Chargers in 2017.
