(670 The Score) Former Packers receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and the Bears have agreed on the terms of a contract, the Athletic reported Thursday evening.
The 6-foot-5 St. Brown, who’s 25, has played for the Packers since 2018. He had nine catches for 98 yards in 13 games for Green Bay in 2021, when he started twice. St. Brown has 37 catches for 543 yards across three NFL seasons. He missed the 2019 season due to injury. The Packers selected St. Brown in the sixth round in 2018.
St. Brown joins a Bears receiving corps that’s considered one of the team’s biggest weaknesses. The only proven wideout the Bears had under contract entering free agency is 24-year-old Darnell Mooney, who had 81 catches for 1,055 yards in 2021.
