Report: Bears are re-signing linebacker D'Marco Jackson to a 2-year deal

(104.3 The Score) The Bears are re-signing veteran linebacker D'Marco Jackson on a two-year deal worth $7.5 million, according to a source.

Jackson, 27, was a key reserve at linebacker who started four games last season. He projects to start for the Bears in the 2026 season after the team released veteran linebacker Tremaine Edmunds last week. Additionally, fellow linebacker T.J. Edwards had an injury-plagued 2025 that ended with a fractured fibula in January.

Jackson posted 43 tackles, two tackles for a loss, one sack and one interception last season. He signed with the Bears prior to the start of the season in part because of a connection with defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, who coached him in New Orleans previously.

The Bears haven't yet officially announced their deal with Jackson.
