(670 The Score) The Bears will sign defensive lineman Angelo Blackson on a two-year deal, a source said Wednesday night. NFL Media first reported the news.
A six-year NFL veteran, Blackson has played in 85 games and recorded six sacks in his career. He played in 16 games with the Cardinals last season, tying a career-best with 2.5 sacks.
Blackson played for the Titans (2015-'16), Texans (2017-'19) and Cardinals (2020). His arrival add depth to the Bears' defensive line after the loss of Roy Robertson-Harris, who signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent.
The Bears haven't yet made the addition of Blackson official.
