(104.3 The Score) Following a breakout season with the Bears, veteran cornerback Nahshon Wright is signing with the Jets.
Wright reached a one-year agreement with the Jets worth $5.5 million, according to reports Tuesday. That comes after he posted five interceptions in a Pro Bowl campaign this past season.
Wright, 27, signed with the Bears last April after he was released by the Vikings. He stepped into a starting role following an offseason injury to top cornerback Jaylon Johnson.
Wright will join a Jets team that didn't have a single interception in the entire 2025 season. New York was the first team since 1933 to record that lowly distinction.
The Jets can officially sign Wright on Wednesday at 3 p.m. CT, when the new league year opens.
