(670 The Score) Bears tight end Robert Tonyan on Saturday was added to the team's injury report with a back issue, a little more than 24 hours before kickoff of the season opener at Soldier Field.

Tonyan wasn't listed on the Bears' injury report during the week, an indication that it's a recent issue. Tonyan played the last five seasons with the Packers, whom the Bears will host Sunday.

In other news, the Bears released veteran linebacker Dylan Cole, who had been dealing with a hamstring injury since the first day of training camp. Chicago also elevated tight end Stephen Carlson and linebacker DeMarquis Gates to the active roster.

The Bears and the Packers will kick off Sunday at 3:25 p.m. CT from Soldier Field.
