(AUDACY) It was a bad start to the 2021 NFL season for the NFC North, seeing as all four teams lost with fairly significant levels of humiliation Sunday.
The Packers were absolutely annihilated by the Saints, with Aaron Rodgers putting up perhaps the worst performance of his career. The Lions made it a close game late against the 49ers but were losing 31-10 at the half and were getting heavily outplayed. The Vikings found a way to lose to the Bengals, with their usually potent rushing attack held to just 67 yards while Joe Mixon nearly doubled that total himself. And the Bears watched some Andy Dalton mediocrity turn into a 34-14 blowout at the hands of the Super Bowl-contending Rams.
The latter of those two coaches -- the Vikings' Mike Zimmer and the Bears' Matt Nagy -- found themselves atop the list of coaches most likely to be fired first entering the season, according to Odds Shark, and their teams' Week 1 outcomes certainly made matters worse. And while Nagy was a hot topic throughout the Twitter community because of the Bears' loss and fans' frustration toward the poor team display, he sprouted up again Monday afternoon for another reason entirely.

"I was hired to help you make this great team even better," Nagy says in the apparent McDonald's employment ad, which seems to be airing on Snapchat. "We're doing paid time off, tuition assistance for school too. And hey, if they put in the work, they can make manager on this team."
The Bears community on Twitter obviously had a field day reacting to the ad and the fact that it surfaced right after the rough Sunday night outing and the criticism Nagy drew from fans. Several fans couldn't even believe that the ad was real, everything considered, and for good reason. However, it sure looks real, and that led to some funny comments from writers and fans alike.
