Twin brother of Bears' Tarik Cohen found dead at electrical substation in North Carolina

(AUDACY) Tyrell Cohen, the twin brother of Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen, was found dead at an electrical substation in Raleigh, N.C. on Sunday, according to authorities and as reported by WRAL.com.

Tyrell, 25, was reported missing Saturday night when he failed to return home. Tarik had posted a tweet asking for help in finding him, which has since been deleted. Tyrell's body was found Sunday at the Duke Energy substation by an employee around 9 a.m. Sunday morning, per Wake County Sheriff Gerald Baker.

It's believed Tyrell died of electrocution attempting to climb some equipment while fleeing from law enforcement, according to the report. Foul play isn't suspected.

The Bears released a statement Sunday evening.

"We are heartbroken to learn of the death of Tarik Cohen's twin brother, Tyrell," the statement said. "Our immediate thoughts and prayers go out to Tarik, his mother, Tilwanda, and the rest of their family and loved ones. On behalf of the entire Bears family, we extend our most heartfelt sympathies to all who mourn his loss."

Tyrell and Tarik Cohen both grew up in Bunn, N.C., where Tarik starred at Bunn High School and later NC A&T before being he was selected by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
