(670 The Score) The Blackhawks selected 18-year-old defenseman Nolan Allan with the No. 32 overall pick in the first round of the NHL Draft on Friday night.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Allan is a Canadian who shoots left-handed and currently plays for the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League. He has 11 points in 81 career WHL games.
