(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have signed 18-year-old forward Colton Dach to a three-year entry-level contract, they announced Friday.
Chicago selected Dach in the second round of the NHL Draft in July. He's the younger brother of Blackhawks center Kirby Dach, one of the team's cornerstone pieces. Colton Dach's new deal currently runs through the 2023-'24 season and carries a $870,000 cap hit.
Colton is set to play in the Western Hockey League again this season, and he was recently traded from Saskatoon to Kelowna. He had 20 points (11 goals, nine assists) in 20 games in the 2020-'21 season.
