(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have signed 21-year-old defenseman Jakub Galvas to a two-year entry-level contract, they announced Thursday. The new deal runs through the 2022-'23 season with a $867,500 salary cap hit.
Chicago selected Galvas in the fifth round of the 2017 NHL Draft. He has 11 points (two goals, nine assists) in 47 games with Jukurit of the Finnish Elite League this season.
Galvas has also represented the Czech Republic in international competitions such as the 2019 IIHL World Junior Championship.
