(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have traded defenseman Jack Johnson to the Avalanche in exchange for defenseman Andreas Englund, the team announced Sunday evening.
Johnson, 36, had four assists in 58 games for Chicago this season. He was a member of the Avalanche's championship-winning team last season.
Englund, 27, had three assists and a team-leading 104 hits in 36 games for Colorado this season. He has six assists in 69 career games in the NHL.
The NHL trade deadline looms Friday.
