(670 The Score) Bulls guard Alex Caruso will have his sprained left foot re-evaluated in seven to 10 days, the team announced Wednesday evening.
Caruso suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Bulls' win against the Rockets on Monday. The Bulls have three games on their schedule in the next seven days, and Caruso could miss more contests beyond that, as a re-evaluation of an injury doesn't mean a player is necessarily healthy enough to immediately return.
Caruso missed two games in early December due to a hamstring ailment. In that case, he returned a few days earlier than the team initially expected after he healed well.
Caruso is averaging 8.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 28.0 minutes across 26 games, including nine starts. His elite defense has also been instrumental in the Bulls' improvement on that end.
