(670 The Score) Bulls forward Patrick Williams has been named to USA Basketball's select team.
Williams was one of the 17 young players to earn the honor. The select team will train with and compete against the U.S. senior national team during its training camp in Las Vegas before the veteran group heads to Tokyo to compete in the Summer Olympics.

Williams, who will turn 20 in late August, averaged 9.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks in 27.9 minutes across 71 games, all starts, in his rookie campaign. He shot 48.3% overall and 39.1% on 3-pointers. The Bulls drafted Williams at No. 4 overall last November.
Williams won't be the only Bull at the USA Basketball training camp. Star guard Zach LaVine is on the senior team and will compete for Team USA in the Olympics.
